Lenticular Series : Four artists and their vision | K+Y CONTEMPORARY ART

Lenticular photography is a popular holographic technique that allows you to see several images simultaneously. This month we are exhibiting artists who explore different approaches to this medium. Photographer Cécile Plaisance portrays duality and opposition. British artist Jeff Robb uses holograms to make his subjects stand out in three dimensions. Nick Veasey brings his photographs to life with X-rays. Finally, our newest artist duo Ana D. & Noora K. use lenticular to highlight the movement of bodies and their interaction with their environment.

Ana D. & Noora K. : the beauty of movement

The Finnish-Mexican duo presents a series of lenticular photographs that explore the human body and its relationship with nature. relationship with nature. Their subtle visual language is based on the play between movement and transparency. Lenticular printing allows them to give a new dimension to the energy they capture through their lens.
Cécile Plaisance: playing with duality

Cécile Plaisance's lenticular photography is part of its time and part of the global women's rights movement. Inspired by the great masters of photography, Cécile Plaisance uses this technique to allow the viewer to dress or undress the models, real women, barbies and idealized beauties.
Jeff Robb: the world in three-dimensions

The British artist is known for his work that focuses on abstracted nude female forms captured in space and produced in series. He holds an MA in Artistic Holography from the Royal College of Art and has been experimenting with three-dimensional imagery for thirty years. His work is now held in museums and private collections around the world.
Nick Veasey: X-rays come to life

Nick Veasey's X-ray photographs provide a mysterious, yet highly detailed view of everyday objects, skilfully blending art and science. The dangerous radiation is used to produce poetic photographs, revealing their inner and universal beauty. He now presents his work in the form of a series of photographs in lenticular form.
