Barcelona: Group show
Past exhibition
Overview
From Dalí to Miró, Catalonia is the birthplace of many avant-garde artists, and continues to be home to exceptional talent. This month, we're showcasing three new artists, all based in Barcelona but with very distinct worlds of their own, and renowned the world over.
Camil Giralt goes back to basics with his quartz-based ink paintings, exploring pure form and the transparency of colour. Juan Escudero works with line, superimposing hundreds of curved lines to create delicate waves. Xevi Solà presents a unique figurative work featuring characters with a detached air that contrasts with the dynamism of the colours.
